Granola
Ingredients

10 C. regular oats
1 ½ C. Wheat germ

healthy things you want in the granola such as:
1 C. almonds gems
1 C. pecan gems
1 C. Raisins
1C. sliced dates
½ C. currants

Other dehydrated fruits or nuts

1 C. brown sugar
1C. honey
¾ C. Canola oil
¾ C. molasses
2 tsp salt
4 tsp Butter Pecan flavoring or Vanilla

 
Directions

Mix the sugar, honey, oil, olasses, salt and flavoring together in a sauce pan.  Heat until well mixed.  Pour onto the oat and wheat germ mixture & stir until all the oats are coated. Mix in the dehydrated fruits and nuts.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Put ½ of the mixture on each of two baking sheets.  Bake for 8 minutes.  Stir granola.  Turn off oven and let granola sit in warm oven for ½ hour, stirring every 15 minutes.  Cool & enjoy.  Store in plastic bags or containers.
